THE PAINTED HOUSE IN TODI
Among the several historical buildings, in the towncenter rises a little house, one in a kind: the “Painted House“. The adjective ” singular” is probably perfect to describe this cultural site, where art and daily life are combined: this real work of art is actually the local house of the Irish painter known as Patrick Ireland (alias Brian O’Doherty). After some years since the purchase, in 1975, the artist begins painting the walls of this causy apartment in the historical centre, with brilliant colours and symbolic geometrical figures of an ancient Irish language called “Ogham”. In few words, an explosion of colours in a miniature museum, that is worth a visit in Todi! Visit us on https://www.facebook.com/ThePaintedHouseTodi/
